@Hyperventilate:  No joke, Banquet pot pies are one of my favorite meals ever. I tried the fancy Marie Calendar’s and it just wasn’t the same.

@bunnyharriet:  Um. How does bacon scented candles reinforce the torture of swine? It’s an artificial scent oil.

@LaCroix:  I found a recipe for chicken pot pie in a recipe book and made it on a whim. My husband and I love it and when I was bringing him home from work (His tire has a flat) he quietly goes, “Um… do we have the stuff to make those chicken pies again?”

Yes my love we do.

@Hyperventilate:  I saw a bacon scented, real bacon wrapped pillar candle on Facebook the other day with lots of stupid comments like, “OMG YESSS!” “where do i buy this?” “i want one” blah blah. The candle part wasn’t the issue, but the waste of bacon was very annoying and all the stupid comments were so unoriginal and stupid to me.

It annoys me that we can’t share our Etsy shops…. I know it sounds so silly, but I spent YEARS HERE planning my wedding, getting to know everyone, and now if I post ANYTHING it is self promotion and gets taken down.  I learned so much here and started a business and I want to share it with the people who inspired me!  Let alone I would FREAKING LOVE to see what all you geniouses are selling, cause I know like 90 percent of you are!  ETSY THREAD PLEEEEEASE!

Yes I am engaged and yes my wedding isn’t until 2015? Why you ask?  Because thats how I f****ing want it!!!!! I WANT a nice wedding and don’t want to go in DEBT for it.  I will not get married while in school so whats an extra year? Yes it sucks waiting but that just means I get to have a fiance for that much longer.  Why bother getting engaged? because we wanted to and if you say your planning for a wedding and not engaged people look at you like your insane and say your jinxing the entire relationship.

To all my aunts; I’m so tired of seeing your fanatical memes on facebook about how the government is trying to steal your soul. And how Obama is a socialist, who wants to kill the rich to gain more power and hates God. But he’s also somehow a Muslim…o yes, and I forgot a terrorist.  Don’t even get me started on the birthers.. I don’t care if you like the man or not, but spreading crazy-ass propaganda does not make you look SANE!!!!

Why do people feel the need to invite themselves to my wedding by immediately responding to news of my nuptials with “oh, I get an invite, riiiiigghht?” This behavior is so presumptuous and pushy and rude and I can’t imagine why anyone would think it’s okay!!  Your knowing of my wedding doesn’t automatically mean you can come.  Makes me want to keep this whole thing a secret til the day of…

@bunnyharriet: I saw one on Pinterest that was made of actual bacon grease – like the stuff left over after you’re done cooking the bacon. WTF, seriously.

Hmm, ranty stuff…

You’re a grown woman. Yeah, life is unfair. You’ve made some poor decisions. You had a kid too young. You quit your job without a backup plan and now you’re unemployed. Your life sucks. I get it. I’ve been there. But you know what? That’s no excuse to act like a child. That’s no excuse to be irresponsible with what little money you have. That’s no excuse to be a shitty parent. You’re evil to everyone because you think we’re judging you. Actually, we want to help you, but we can’t do that until you acknowledge that you need help. Calling us judgmental or cussing us out because we’re trying to give you advice on how to fix the trainwreck that your life has become isn’t helping your case. GROW. UP.

Really, dog? I love you, but how does one swallow an entire one of those stuffingless foxes WHOLE?! I mean, I’m kind of impressed, but do you realize how expensive emergency surgery was? Really effing expensive.

And seriously, how many times is someone going to hit my car while it’s STATIONARY in a parking lot?! How stupid do you have to be to hit something that’s not moving and not really in your way because it’s parked? How many stupid people are there in the world that this has happened TWICE to me in four years?! And why are stupid drivers usually uninsured to top it off? Oh yeah, because if you’re stupid enough to hit something that’s not moving, you’re probably too stupid to get car insurance.

That felt kind of good.
