It was a struggle to find enough to register for so hopefully I will have everything!

Originally I had forgot new dishcloths. I use mine so much and it’s been nice getting new ones.

We just made ours, and Bed Bath & Beyond had a pretty handy “room by room” thing that helped me go through our belongings and figure out what was due for an upgrade. I think Crate & Barrel had one too but their flip book kept crashing my browser so I can’t say for sure.

I forgot to register for casserole dishes! How weird is that? I also forgot cooling racks.

I wish I had registered for 2 sets of 1000 count sheets instead of 1. I also wish I had registered for more towels. I registered for 4 bath towels, hand towels, matching wash cloths, but wish I had upped it to 8. We change our towels weekly and 1 year later, I’ve noticed that they are looking a bit ragedy. We came into the relationship with sheets and towels, but none as nice as what we registered for.

My regret is not putting registry info IN the wedding invite. I linked it on our website but no one went to that!  Most of DH’s side didn’t think we were registered anywhere 🙁  I would have slipped them into HIS invitations and left them out of mine! 🙂

Towels. It wasn’t something we needed because we already lived together but we just bought a bunch on sale at Macys and I forgot how nice plush new towels are.

@jo.lee: Cooling racks! Thanks for the reminder! Didn’t put those on the list yet!

Something I almost forgot was a jar opener. I know that sounds silly but I am a complete weakling and can’t manage to open jars half the time.

My advice (something I’m trying to follow) is be mindful while you are cooking/doing chores, etc. and make a list (mental or otherwise) of what tools/gadgets/etc. you are using then check to make sure they are on the list or that you already own them. But I’m not sure that’s helpful for everyone. It’s working for me because I currently live with my parents so I have little in the way of cookware/bakeware/housewares.
