We had to push our date back due to the loss of my job about a month ago. We were soooo close! OK, maybe like 7 months away lol. Now we are all booked for Dec 6,2012. How are any other late 2012 brides dealing with it being so far away?? I obviously know that this was the best decision but… ugh! I have been waiting sooo long to marry him. 7 yr anni.this Tues the 6th. It is definitely worth the wait!
Just don’t know how to keep myself busy and not trying to plan our wedding too soon. Even though alot of our vendors are already booked!

Oh man. That stinks! But at least you get to marry your love! Maybe you can do lots of DIY projects! Save money and still get to do wedding stuff!

Oh i plan on that! Fiance and I met in the Navy,he got stationed in FL 8 mo.into dating…I was in MD still. Uggh it was rough. I flew alot to see him and had to deal with many deployments inbetween. We made it though!
I am def.going to be well planned out for this wedding!

It suckssss!!! I do a whole lot of early planning. I justify it by saying I’m spreading the spending. But it is definitely nerve wracking.

Hi! I’m also a Dec 2012 bride and new to Weddingbee, although I have already lurked around for a while before actually getting around to registering!
I’m sorry you had to move your date – I’m sure you’re frustrated! For me it’s a little bit different, since we set the date almost two years from the engagement on purpose to have enough time to save money. So I guess you could say I was prepared to wait from the beginning! I actually don’t even mind that much, since I really love the planning stage and like having time to carefully consider different options. I would hate to have to rush with planning. But, I’m sure it really sucks if you originally had your heart set on an earlier date!
