Still recovering from a chest infection, also recovering from food poisoning and now I think I have a UTI. It doesn’t burn when I pee, just feels REALLY uncomfortable. Also, it feels like there is constant pressure on my bladder, I have to pee LOADs though hardly anything comes out, and it is so, so so so uncomfortable… I hate walking, I hate sitting, I hate doing ANYTHING because it feels like I have to pee all the freaking time!!!!! Urin is fairly cloudy, though it’s always cloudy, so I don’t know what it is.
It’s the first time I’ve ever felt like this, I have never had bladder infections etc. And I don’t understand why it has only popped up NOW despite having been with him for almost two months and acting like rabbits when we see each other once a week (I think it’s because I’m a little ‘immunicompromised’ thanks to the chest infection and food poisoning).
I think it’s due to the large amount of sex I have with the new SO (when we see each other, we do it about 4 times a day at least :S). Incredibly frustrated. Not to mention my period started. ARGHHH.
What do I do to get rid of it? I know it can become a kidney infection – I’ve been feeling tachycardic and feverish, but I’m attributing that to my chest infection I had. I’ve gotten craploads of cranberry juice. I tried calling my GP but no-one was answering. I guess I should pay them a visit tomorrow… right? And does this mean I will have to cut down on the sex as well? I really don’t want to, it is amazing and it would suck if I had to!

Oh and yes you should go to your GP and get something prescribed! Doctors are the best to go to for these things, not us Bees!

@MeeshelleMyBelle: I know but normally I get antibiotics and whatnot from my parents. But I don’t want to go to them because they’ll twig on quickly why I have a UTI… And I don’t know how booked up my GP is, I guess I will have to phone them tomorrow… This is ridiculous, I have never had one in my life and I now understand why people hate them so much 🙁

Yup you just have to call and find out. Call when they open tomorrow morning, I’m sure they’ll find you an appointment.

I had a UTI and it became really painful to pee. I’d try to see a dr as soon as possible to prevent it from getting worse. But, yeah, until then keep drinking. If you can get to a health food store, look for the ‘Cleanse and Detox’ tea from Gaia Herbs.

@OrchidsandCandles: Yeah, that is exactly what happened to me. And then it got painful. My doc said to keep drinking so much that you need to constantly pee, even though it feels like you can’t. I am so sorry. Try not to freak too much. Can you go to an ER?

@jjmomma: Just phoned mum, she’s going to sort something out. I’m dreading the pain the most, I cannot cope with that pain, it is horrific. And already in tears, this is so shit, I am one of the most rational people I know and I’m peeing blood and crying. Is it possible to be scared of peeing?

@OrchidsandCandles: Yes. I was panicked when it happened with me… had no clue that I might have UTI until the pain and blood. Definitely good that you are going to the doc~ it could get much worse and spread (bladder, kidneys).

@ladeeeda: They have an ER, but I don’t think they will sort this out. Mum is coming to pick me up. I need to pee so bad now but I really don’t want to because I know it’s going to hurt, this is goddamn torture
Turns out I’m not on my period, it was in fact the bloody urine
