Alright so I think I found my dress. I’m going to post 3 dresses I tried on today, all of which I loved. But one of them is just calling to me more then the other 3. Let’s see if you agree!
First up is Adelaide:
Next up, Josie:
And lastly, a Venus dress that doesn’t have a name:
So fellow bees. Which one is.. THE ONE. Keep in mind all these were a size 12 and I am a size 6, so a lot of the pleating got stretched out. When I wear the right size, the dress fits me just like the models. So that’s why I included the links.

They all look amazing, but I especially love the Josie on you!

I like the second one the best xx

I like Adelaide the best, it gives you a tiny waist. Josie is too shiny for me.
@Treeline: I think she might just have a tiny waist! I like the shiny on Josie.

The Josie looks like it was made for you
I feel like the other two’s ruching scrunches your body

I normally would choose not to comment on a thread like this, because I would not want to risk upsetting a bride who really seems happy with her choice of potential dresses. However, I am going to tell you what I honestly think about the options you’ve presented.
I love the STYLE of dress you’ve chosen, because it looks great on your figure, which is fabulous by the way. I definitely think that you’ve done a great job in determining the type of dress that you like and the overall style of gown that looks good on and showcases your body.
Of the three dresses you’ve posted, I definitely think that the Josie fits you the best and has the nicest lines. However, I agree with @Treeline:. I think that, even in the designer’s own pics of the gown, it is just MUCH too shiny, and I am concerned that you may not end up liking that in your wedding pics.
I do not care as much for the other two gowns. I think that the Adelaide draws too much attention to the bust area and creates this awkward line under the bust, and I do not like the multi-directional ruching and pleating of the Venus gown.
If I were you, I would take what you’ve found as a great guideline for the overall style of dress that you want. However, I would keep looking, OR, I would see if the Josie could be made using a better grade of fabric that would not be as shiny.

@Brielle: Thank you so much for such a well thought out post. I agree, the Josie WAS shiny. As of right now, The Venus one is the front runner. I hate the way it looks in the pics unfortunately. The way the lines went did not look flattering. I am a size 6 and the dress was a 12. What i think I might do is find the Venus one in my size somewhere and see if it looks better.

Here is more of the Venus one. The way the dress looked without being stretched was a lot different.

It’s hard to pick just looking at one picture of each dress, I can see now that #3 is stunning on you!!! I had voted for #2 but that was really the only full length shot 😉

Oh my that 2nd one is amazing! Looks perfect on you!

honest honest opinion? I would keep looking 🙁 you have a great figure and can find a dress that’s more flattering than the three. Don’t mind the top of the Venus, but totally not a fan of the huge pleat that runs diagonal on the skirt. Looks funny and cuts you wrong – would be nicer without the pleat, imo. Again, you have a great figure! I would suggest a drop waist or trumpet maybe?

I still really love the 2nd one!!!

I like Josie (2nd) one on you. It’s very flattering
