BetchyBride:  Don’t worry about people. Seriously I just commented a good-hearted reply and got attacked on this thread. I really don’t understand why people take a goddamn WEDDING FORUM so seriously. I didn’t realize my husband’s choices of gifts to me or your fiance’s choices of gifts to you had SUCH a MAJOR impact on stranger’s lives. I must go rethink every gift I’ve ever received from anyone and make sure it didn’t ruin anyone’s life on here!

TheGridMonster:  +1 on getting clarity

KC-2722:  yup. Eggs, chicken was my first thought too.

eveline: well, more the fact that if you put something on the internet (i.e. not a victim of a hacking), you don’t get to tell people to mind their own business. You put it out there for opinions, advice, validation, or whatnot. You get to choose what you share and how you react to whatever input you get. You seem like a sweetheart so it’s a bit surprising to me that you’d go straight to swears and internet screaming in response to some feedback.

In a perfect world, we would all respond with whatever a poster needed, but this world isn’t perfect. So all you can do is ignore the comments you don’t find useful or productive and learn and grow from the rest.

BetchyBride: look, I know you gave multiple bees the wrong impression, but all we get to go on is what you shared. The anticipatory nature that you conveyed is probably meant to be more fun or lighthearted (Like what should I do when I win the lotto kind of hypothetical, something that could happen but hasn’t happened yet) but an e-ring is pretty loaded with financial, emotional, etc. meanings.

So yeah. Tons of things you can do if you get an upgrade. Let us know in a month and half when that ring comes in!

I think you could just wear your onyx ring on your right hand and it would look stunning!

bitsybee:  I understand I share a lot of my life on this forum, but when people blatantly ignore when I say there is no issue with my husband’s having saved up $15k and continue to belittle me, that’s when I get aggravated. I am a very mild-mannered person normally. Yesterday I had one of the worst days I’ve had in a long time, and I just wasn’t in the mood for that lol.
