I think your wedding dress is beautiful, I think that you should wear your second dress to the rehearsal and wear your wedding dress to the reception.  Just my opinion ๐Ÿ™‚

If I were you I’d take it along to the reception, and change into it if you feel like it. The tight mermaid styles can be very hard to dance, plus strapless bras can be uncomfortable, in so you might appreciate the change. But I’ve also heard of people buying reception dresses then realising they’re having so much fun in their full wedding outfit that they decide not to change (or forget altogether!)

I wouldn’t really recommend wearing it twice- that being said- do what you want, it is your day.  However, I love the dress, I would just choose between wearing it at the reception or the rehearsal.

I agree with @snuggly–bring it along and see how you feel. You might not end up wanting to take off your wedding dress to change. Or you might be thrilled to get out of it. Either way, it’ll be good to have the option. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wearing it to both events. I mean, in an ideal world, you would probably be able to have 3 dresses–one for the rehearsal, one for beginning of reception, and one for the end. So if you can’t find another dress that you love as much to change into, then I think this one is fine. And it’s definietly appropriate for the rehearsal. It’s very summery and light, and if you are a little fancy, that’s ok–you’re the bride! You’re allowed ๐Ÿ™‚
