So my fiance and I got engaged last October and we picked out and ordered a ring together from Moissaniteco.com. I love the stone and the high set solitaire setting, however the prongs often scratch my or his face and pulls out my hair. It’s a shame because I really do like my ring (pics in my gallery). 🙁 Anyway, so I’ve just contacted Moissaniteco.com about exchanging the setting I have for another one (keeping my 1.25ct round stone though!) and I’d like some opinons please! Below are photos of the three I like best that are low or even bezel set and come in yellow gold. Which is your favorite and why? If you have a ring similiar I’d love to see photos!
I like this one because as you can see it’s very low, but the enternity spiral style is elegant, danity, and has a wedding band available so I won’t have to search if I don’t want to. But I wouldn’t be able to wear the wedding band on it’s own due to the spiral shape. (Do you know of any other bands that would look good with this? Doesn’t have to match, just needs to “go”) Unfortunately though it does have little prongs… I don’t know if they’d matter considering how low they are?
This one appeals to me because it’s simple, doesn’t have prongs, and is low. I also like the little moissanites on the band. I’m just wondering, does it look too much like a wedding band than an engagement ring? What kind of band would look nice with this anyway? Skinny eternity band or two?
This one is quite gorgeous, has a bezel, and a stunning wedding band available that I could wear alone, but it appears rather high and perhaps even bulky, especeially compared to the first two. But I’m still quite drawn to this one.
Any suggestions or opinons are appreciated! Thanks!

The last one is stunning! Its also more classic and less trendy (IMO).

Hm…my personal preference is the white gold spiral. While the bezel is pretty, I’ve never been a big fan of that setting. I feel like it ‘hides’ the stone, and makes it hard to show off how beautiful they are!
That’s just my preference though. If you are super worried about it getting in the way, you could always just do a lower-set halo!

OMG I LOVE the spiral first option. It’s beautiful! And I’m a yellow gold kinda girl. I think it’s perfect.

I really love the first one, and the third one is my second favorite. Gorgeous!

I love the solitaire on you personally, but the last bezel setting is very classy too!

The bezel will snag less–any sort of prong will still catch in your hair. My prongs don’t stick up real high, but they still snag occassionally. Bezels are modern and i really love them.

I like all of them, but the last is really my favorite. I love the extra diamonds under the bezel – I’ve not seen many bezel rings like that. It does seem to stick up more than the other two though…

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I’ve decided against the 2nd option all together and though I still am liking the 1st and 3rd I’m on the fence about them because
1. Though I find the spiral design pretty and feminine, I feel it’s too trendy for my taste and I don’t like the idea of having a custom band. Plus the little prongs…
2. I just can’t get over how bulky looks and I think I’d like it on someone else more so than on myself. I think what’s really turning me off about it is that it looks like a “backwards” halo to me since the top is plain and the sides have the stones. I think it looks top heavy or something? Can’t really explain.
What do you guys think of this?
This is kind of a happy medium. What do you guys think? This one is still bezel, has a slim band to give it the delicate feel that I liked w/ the spiral, is high enough I can fit a regular band below it, AND has the halo with moissanites on TOP and plain sides! I have not decided on it 100% yet, but so far I think it’s my favorite

I have a half bezel and I love it!!!
One of the things I really love about mine is the side view of my diamond. And it’s a very unique setting – I’ve never met anyone else with one! I vote partial bezel!
