I am thinking of asking my husband for a contour diamond band for our anniversary. I would wear it daily on the other side of my solitaire and my e ring and wedding band would be worn like they are currently. How do you think it would look? Should I do a different type of anniversary band or not at all?
Here is the band I am thinking about adding

Well, it’s hard to say without actually seeing it beside your ring. But personally I would think it might take away a bit from your wedding band, which is so gorgeous.

Would a straight band just like it not fit next to your e-ring? I personally love the two-band look so I say go for it! I would prefer a straight one though, in case I wanted to wear it alone on my other hand.

Your rings are very beautiful, but not my style; however, if I were you, I would see what the same style anniversary band would look like with sapphires, instead of diamonds. I think that might look better and also acentuate your ering 🙂

@MrsCoachBtoBee: Yes, a straight band would fit with my ring. I was thinking in terms of contrasting shapes. The more I think about it the more I am liking the idea of a straight band like this. What do you think?

I think it would take away from your gorgeous wedding band.

I absolutely LOVE your set and I feel like adding to it would kind of ruin it a little. Maybe ask for an anniversary band for your right hand?

I’m with the PPs, I think adding to your set would take away from it rather than enhance it. Why not ask for a beautiful right hand ring?

What about a band that matches your current wedding band, but reverse the stones so its oval diamonds and small round sapphires?

I like Ginger123’s idea! That would be pretty=)

@MrsFuzzyFace: I like that one a lot! I don’t think it was up the first time when I looked. I get what people are saying about taking away from your e-ring but I also love bling! You could also interchange them if the band was straight. Very pretty!

@MrsFuzzyFace: i think if you put something on the other side it should match the band you already have. just my opinion

I think the straight diamond band would look gorgeous on the other side of your ering, only if the stones in it aren’t larger than the stones in your wedding band though. An anniversary close to christmas = pretty diamond gifts!

each of those rings is fairly wide. I personally don’t like the stacked look with bigger rings, it seems too crowded and not flattering on the finger. don’t get me wrong– those rings are gorgeous. I like stacked rings, but only when they are super thin. but that’s a matter of personal opinion and taste 🙂
if you want an anniversary ring, go for it! I like the straight one. but maybe consider wearing one ring of your choosing on your right hand?

I love the curved one, since you already have a straight band on one side I think the curved one would pop more! 🙂 LOVE IT!
