I think it looks great the way it is with the red band straight across.

Your gown looks great on you but, I voted yes because I am partial to sweetheart necklines. I think they are more feminine.

I think sweethearts are more flattering in general. You should try on a sweetheart neckline just to make sure you like the look on you before you get it altered though!

I tend to think sweetheart necklines are more flattering, but with your dress I think it would depend on how you can do it. Would the red follow the sweetheart neckline like it does now or would you have to just cut the neckline out of the red that’s already there? If it’s option 1, I think it would be nice, but if it’s the latter, I think that might look weird (and obvious that you changed it).

I also am partial to sweetheart necklines. But how would this effect the red?

What a pretty dress! I like the red accents.

I think the sweetheart neckline would work great on you. It will really flatter your figure.  Let us know what you decide and provide pictures if you decide to alter it.

Normally I prefer sweetheart necklines, but I think with your dress the neckline as-is would look best.

I like sweetheard necklines but I would ask how much it would cost to do beforehand.  In order to look nice, you would have to have the red wrap around the neckline which would be more work than just cutting out the sweetheard from the top of the dress.

I would leave it as-is.  I like how the red band goes straight across the top.

I love sweetheart necklines so I have to vote yes.  I’m going to be doing the same to mine.  I wonder how much it jacks up the alteration cost though….

Have you tried anything that has a sweetheart neckline? Do you have picutres so we can compare?
