I don’t have any experience with Pure Romance, although I would honestly love to go to a party… it’s like getting a bachelorette all over again! ๐Ÿ˜‰  I do have a few friends who do home party businesses and it does seem to be a great side job.

Just consider who you know or could network with to create a customer base to work off of.  Do you think you would end up being in competition with your friend?  I think success with these types of businesses seems to come down to your personality and who you know.

agreed with the person above. is your social circle big enough to host parties every week. do you have friends that have different circles so different people can attend the parties?

@MsYellowJacket:  I have no idea what Prue Romance is….is this just another name for a fun party or adult toy party? I have no idea. If its not please forgive me in advance and explain what its all about.

I actually have a friend who is a consultant and she makes pretty good money doing it.  She only does a few parties a month but it is great supplemental income.

I was a consultant for a competitor for some time.  It is a lot of work and can be very frustrating if you aren’t self motivated.  However if you work your butt off, you will definitely reap the rewards.

I did very well for myself and wish I could have continued with it.  PM me if you have any questions!

they were fine when I first started – but it became very expensive to stay a consultant.  They started changing the catalog more frequently and you not only had to purchase athe catalogs but pay to have them shippped – they are heavy so that added up quickloy.  You also had to purchase the order forms, also expenive.  the folks that did well had a customer base close by – either in the city, on a campus, or at a plant where they had a customer base they could tap.  I’m out in the country – and its much more difficult.  2.5 yrs awas enough for me.  I am still left with inventory I can’t peddle even discounted, and now know what to look for in another at home party company.

MsYellowJacket:  If you are married, I would advise a spouse to stay away from this company. There is a bit of adultery that goes on at the corporate office and even at their conventions. I believe they like to tout that Pure Romance puts the romance back into your marriage, but getting involved with this company could be detrimental to your marriage. Stay away.

I know this post was from 3 years ago. However I have been doing Pure Romance for 2 years now and absouletly love it. I love meeting amazing women and empowering them. Pure Romance is not like other companies. We have strick rules and guidelines and these rules are great to have. The above post saying to stay away from Pure Romance that it will cause harm to your marriage is completely wrong and inaccurate. We do things tastefully and respectfully. No men and no one below 18. I do have men customers but things are 1 on 1, I do couple sessions where they might have questions about product or what would be best for them. Pure Romance is about educating and then entertaining. As an Advanced Consultant I have taken classes to learn more about certain aspects of the body. Any home based business requires work, you make it what you want. What work you put in to your company the more it will grow. If you decided to join or if you decided not or interested I am open for questions. Whatever I can do to help you.
