Try selling your original dress that you don’t want on the boards here, then you can buy the dress you really want!

I highly suggest trying on a dress and when you find the one you love, then try to find it online.  I have a few friends who ordered stuff from photos they saw online, got them and HATED the way they looked in them.  Just my 2 cents from observation of people I know.

I would suggest trying on dresses in the same style, color, and length (perferrably the same dress as online) and I know a lot of online dresses, you can give measurements (atleast I’d stick to sites that ask for that)…be liberal in your judgement of measurements and then take it to a local seamstress for alterations.

Hey, I am also thinking of buying a dress online.  I think I want to buy from seller asapbay.  Since most of their dresses are pronovias style, I think I am going to try on some Pronovias dresses before I buy from them.

I am buying online. At first I thought it was great, and everything went wonderful…buuttt buying online is never as wonderful as it seems. It may turn out okay, but it sure is stressful at present!

WARNING about Milly Bridal

Those are just a couple that I know of. I know there are people that have had wonderful experiences, (I know because I researched like crazy before I bought online!) But you don’t want to be one of the ones who has a bad experience. Trust me.

I thought about purchasing online, but I couldn’t find a site that I was comfortable with for the style, quality, and type of gown that I wanted. If you decide to purchase online, please be careful. There are a lot of online sellers for wedding gowns, and the gowns are at ridiculous prices; however, the quality may not be what you are expecting. Also, in a lot of cases, the gown you think you are purchasing turns out to be something different when you recieve it, and sometimes you may not receive it. Make sure to google for reviews of any seller/company, so that you can make an informed choice.

Just because they say custom measurements doesn’t mean that is what you are getting.  If you buy online buy from a company that someone else has bought from and had a good experience.  Trust me it is not worth the agrevation!  I am going through it now…
