Im would really like to have a praise dancer incorporated into my wedding somehow because I do want a particular song to be a part of the wedding. My problem is that Im not sure where to have the dancer–before anyone enters, after the wedding party or just at the reception. Im wondering if Im asking for too much. Any advice?

If you really want that I think it will be best for the reception. You want the actual ceremony to be all about you and your hubby. No extras…lol

Darling Husband and I had a time of praise and worship at the beginning of our ceremony so that God would be glorified first and foremost at our wedding. We had two praise songs sung by two of my friends who were on the worship team at my church. You could have a similar time of praise and worship at your wedding and incorporate the praise dancer’s offering during that time.

i saw something like this once on four weddings, it was during the cermony and the judges (other 3 brides) thought it was lovely.

I’ve had friends who had someone do a dance to a Christian song somewhere during the ceremony…I think it was after a couple of praise songs and before the processional

How about after you are pronounced husband and wife? We marched out on a praise song. Everyone thought it was beautiful.

@FutureMrsEAG: The ladies from the ministry that I am apart of, will be dancing at the very beginning of the wedding. Like @Brielle we are going to have a time of praise and worship.

I’m a dancer and have danced at more weddings then I can count. I usually dance prior to the seating of the grandparents or parents. It’s a good way to let the guest know the wedding is beginning. It also sets a beautiful mood if you have a dancer with great expression.
