I’d love to hear some opinions on this pairing! I ordered the wedding band from Costco so it can be returned. The band is also too large and would need to be resized (it’s not an infinity ring). I’m torn between a diamond band like this, or a knife edge solitaire band to match the e-ring. Unfortunately the store I went to didn’t have a plain knife edge band that was remotely close to my size, so I wasn’t able to get any sense of how it would look. My e-ring carat is .62, and the TCW of this band is .35 (2mm wide which is the thinnest I could find). Does it take away from the center stone? It seems a little large to me but the fact that it’s not my size may be causing that. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I don’t think the diamonds on the band take away from your e-ring since it’s a solitaire style. I would even say it complements it nicely, but I guess it all depends on what your style is- if you like simple, or you want more bling 🙂 Good luck!

It looks perfectly balanced to me. Aside from it being obviously too big in size for your finger, I think its perfect!
That said, I think I’d prefer a matching plain band with it. That way you can get the diamond band later as an anniversary present!

I think once it’s the correct size, it’ll look perfect!

I think it looks wonderful! You can’t go wrong with either. That’s the beauty of the solitaire, you can pretty much mix and match and wear just about any band with it. Can’t wait to see what you settle on.

I think it looks beautiful with your e-ring! I would just resize it and keep it 🙂

They look great together. I really like your ring and stone size. The wedding band seems to work really well with it and the overall look is elegant and cohesive (which are two priorities for me with wedding sets).

Thanks everyone! I just ordered a plain knife-edge platinum band from James Allen. I really like the look of this set but I also want to compare the other type I was thinking about, just so I never think “what if?”
It should arrive next week and you can bet I’ll be posting for opinions then too!

I love a round solitaire with a mismatched band, but I’m biased because that’s also what I picked out! I think it looks beautiful, bee!
