I think it’d look lovely as a wedding dress! Classic and elegant!

@gromble:  I’d definitely opt for a veil to really make it look bridal.  Otherwise I think it’s a lovely dress.

@gromble:  It doesn’t scream “bridesmaid” to me at all, and it shouldn’t to anybody – you’re the one in the long white dress – that’s all the guests need to know to be sure that you’re the bride.

The only thing I would suggest if you’re having bridesmaids would be to obviously choose different dresses for them to wear (i.e. in a different style).

If it’s on the bride, it’s bridal 🙂

It’s a lovely and elegant dress, and certainly ‘bridal’ enough. Given the simplicity, I would definitely opt for a beautiful veil and perhaps a jeweller hair piece.

I love this dress, especially the lovely neckline. It’s very bridal, IMO, I would most likely throw a fit if my bridesmaid wanted to wear it! lol

If you add a veil, nobody will think “bridesmaid”, guaranteed!

@gromble:  I looked at a lot of long dresses in that line as potential bridal gowns.  I think a white, floor-length gown is going read “bridal,” no matter what, and I love your pick!

I very seriously looked into bridesmaid dresses for my bridal gown and I think it’s a great idea! I think this dress is lovely and would be very bridal in white.
