so, my “regular” CM pattern is typically as follows:
Af, spotting, dry, creamy/lotiony, EWCM, dry, spotting, AF.
Keeping in mind that I’m having long (40+ day) mostly annov cycles, most of my CM is creamy/lotiony with the dry and EWCM being a few days each.
This cycle, however, I’ve had only one or two creamy/lotiony days, maybe 1 dry day, and the rest have been all EWCM.watery. I’m on CD 43. that’s A LOT of EWCM.
something can’t be right here? I’ve been using OPKs since March 4, and they’ve all come back neg, so I haven’t even ovulated, but I’m still getting all this EWCM and it’s been going on for the entire cycle.

@anotherbee: EWCM is caused by high estrogen levels. Your body is probably trying to ovulate and is not being successful. During my anovulatory cycles, I get a ton of EWCM — as in, almost every day. I definitely think some kind of hormone imbalance is at work here.

@bunny: Thanks bunny. I’ve long suspected a horomone inbalance, what with the spotting, and the spikes in temp that drop two days later. However on my annov cycles, I’ve never had this much EWCM. typically, I only get it for a few days. This has been going on for over a month!
luckily I have an in with an OBGYN so hopefully I’ll get some bloodwork done!
