I have alot of extra room on my program that needs something, so i was going to add a fun facts section titled “This day in history” or even This month in history” but there really isnt many fun facts about the month of June, esp June 5 other than a Kennedy got shot.
So I was wondering if you had any ideas or what you thought of listing the fun facts in history from the years Fiance and I were born you know, like the price of gas and songs that were popular etc.
Or maybe fun facts about him and I??? Please help.

We did something similar for our Save The Dates and it’s hard!!! There are so many depressing things in history!!!
If you aren’t able to find many fun/positive facts on the actual day expand to the month.
Instead of just Google April 27 in history try a specific topic.
Love chocolate try googling something about chocolate with that date
Your favorite team? Try googling that date.
We had fun things like friend’s birthday, NFL inauguration of Hall of Fame, etc.
Fiance found all the cool fun history for our Save The Dates!

Oh my gosh-THANK YOU for this post!
It inspired me to look up our date – June 12th – which I didn’t realize was Loving Day! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loving_Day)
As an interracial couple, this is an extra bit of awesome we weren’t expecting. Now…how to incorporate it into the day?!
Thank you so much, 3M 🙂

I like the “fun facts about you & your FI” because there will be many people at the wedding who don’t know each one of you very well, and its cute to do a little “get to know the bride and groom thing”
So you can just list random facts, stories, favorites from each of you growing up & together.

I am going to second the facts about you and your fiance – I would love to learn a little more about the bride and groom at a wedding
