But none of my friends have good boyfriends, so I feel bad telling them!
So yesterday, it was snowing when my boyfriend came home from work. He came in and asked me what happened to the bumper of my car(I ran over a curb), then went back out in the snow, still in his work clothes, and spent almost an hour popping it back into place…with his bare hands! All the while I kept telling him that it could wait until it got warmer, but he’d hear none of it. So not only is my car fixed, but I am amazed that he took the time after working a 9-hour shift to fix my car out in the freezing cold.
Hope everyone’s had a great week!

What a sweet guy! You should hold onto someone who is willing to brave the cold to do anything for you. 🙂 What a blessing!

🙂 what a sweetie!
And, don’t be ‘afraid’ to tell your friends stuff. It might be good for them to see how caring/loving relationships operating and they should be genuinely happy for you anyway!
Also keep in mind that some girls communicate differently about relationships – ie: when I was younger, I went through a phase where I didn’t like to ‘brag’ about the good things but had no problem venting about frustrations – so, my friends thought by Boyfriend or Best Friend was a jerk until they got to know him/us and pointed it out to me.

I LOVE seeing stories like this. It makes you stop and realize what a wonderful and considerate partner we all have…and that you’re in this thing called life together! Definitely a keeper…hang on to him!

@Melissa: You bet! I went right to work making a delicious dinner. He’s so sweet!
@oracle: You’re right, maybe it would be a good thing..because none of them..not one…has a boyfriend that treats them even close to right. I think my boyfriend may be an extra-sweet exception, but still! They all deserve so much better!
@Gemstone: Thanks! I’m so glad that I found this place!

Sounds like a keeper alright! I also agree that you should share with your friends. If they don’t have good boyfriends hearing what a real man is might be helpful for them.

And the best past was that I didn’t even ask him to fix it…he just did it!

That is so sweet! My Fiance does that all the time too! After work last night he went and worked on my car. Then went and worked on my dads and after that went and shoveled their sidewalk and in front of their garages in -2 weather!!!!! He is the best! 🙂
