People amaze me.  How they come up with this stuff joke or no joke is amazing to me.

I think it is a joke.  Look at the comments that get posted.  They would delete the negative ones ASAP if it wasn’t a joke. At least you’d think so.

I don’t know about you ladies, but when I use pads and go to the bathroom some of my menstrual fluid ends up in the toilet. Do they offer some sort of special toilet where I can do my regular business and collect my waste during that time of the month, just in case that fluid contains the fertilized egg? Like if it didn’t come out with what was collected on my pad? Because I am a good Christian woman and I would hate to see my unborn child flushed into the sewer just because I peed and my unborn child never attached to my uterus correctly. Or maybe they could come up with some kind of way for daily functions to by-pass the toilet during that time of the month. Colostomy bag and a catherter or something?

Oh wait. I forgot. I never go to church, am not married, am on the pill and have hot sex with my fiance on a regular basis. Ops. Maybe I should fix that before I start investing in coffins for my pads. I don’t even know for sure if I believe in God. Definitely not a good Christian woman.

On a side note, whoever created that site obviously has no idea what a regular cycle is like. I use far more than 2 pads a cycle, and that’s even with me having shorter periods due to my BCP!

2nd side note: I understand how terrible suffering an actual miscarriage can be, and totally understand wanting to do something to commemorate that. I can even see wanting to do something if you are TTC and yet again get your period. Just knowing that you’ve tried and didn’t get pregnant must be tough. If I were TTC I would totally do something to ‘mourn’ I guess (can’t think of the best word to use) the fact that again, there’s no dearly wanted child. I’ve read so many stories of women who are just devestated when they see the telltale red in their underwear each month. I can see even wanting to go to church and lighting a candle or praying with your pastor or whatever if you are religious. But this goes too far (this being the website, if it is true).

I really hope it’s just a joke.

That is such a sick joke!! I can understand women having a funeral for a miscarraige that is medically deemed a miscarraige, like when the woman knew she was pregnant and was actually looking forward to having a baby out of the pregnancy.

This is just completely different. I would never spend over $1,000 to bury my pads or tampons just because I was a day late for my period. Ridiculous.

This is disturbing. I have heard of women who have a funeral for a misscarage if they were further along then 6 weeks. And it tells women to be pregnant around the clock!! WHAT!! But this is sad. And what if you dont have sex that month…well pretty sure you wont be pregnant.

Why aren’t there caskets for male ejaculate when he sits in front of his computer, watching porn? For shame!

Definitely not real.  If you click the other links, like the FAQ, you can see that this is speaking to states attempting to pass “personhood” ammendments, so that abortion=murder, no matter how early.  No one is really paying $1200 for a mini casket for their potential dead baby/period.  And if they are, I can’t really muster up much sympathy for them.

The “How To” page makes it pretty clear this is satire, they really push it over the top (including graphics) on that page.
