pretty much looks like another inspiration board but this will be my wedding. pretty much everything is done. bubbles are done. favor boxes are done. table numbers are done. card holder, escort card holder, banner, Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. centerpieces. all done! the cake and table settings are the only thing not mine. but that is how i will be doing them.
i cant wait to put it all together!

bRooklynRocks i know i felt silly for having so much done but at the same time i feel like i can relax now for a long while. not to mention my computer crashed a week ago so it was good i had things printed out and what not.
i too love the lion king. my favorite disney movie. FH surprised me with 3rd row tickets to the musical in NYC!
kitzy yes it is. it required quite a bit of ribbon.and the ribbon i bought was around $5 a roll. a bit expensive in my opinion but iknew i wanted it. i need to have 2 so ill lmake another.
all i did was start with a piece of canvas and measured out larger strips of ribbon (about 1.5 in wide) to the width of the board. then i alternated the white blue and black. then once i had the order set i started gluing. i glued the left side first then pulled the ribbon tight and straight across the board and glued on the other side. After gluing all the larger pieces on i then had skinnier ribbon ( for the cards to hang over) i alternated colors over the larger ribbon and glued the same way. then on the back you pretty much have this big ribbon glue mess. i cut a piece of black foam board to the size and glued it to the back.
it was actually quite an easy project
