I’m doing a cobalt blue and peach with some accents of gold and brighter orange!  I say go for it!

What about navy blue and yellow? Not as harsh as the orange and still “fall”.

Or. . . navy blue, ivory, and gray?

Or navy blue and pink! I have a friend who did this for her wedding and it looked beautiful!

What about this???  Mint is very popular this year.  You could do hues in oranges and corals with the navy and mint.

Good luck in your choice.  🙂

@peachbaby4008:  i say don’t worry about what is “fall” colours….if you want summer in october then by all means do summer in october!!!!!

I am having a June wedding, and my colours are red, black, white, and some gold….talk about bold colours! that is almost winter-ish…or it almost sounds more of an east indian colour pallet (they do have amazing weddings..) but mine will not be winter or indian inspired…it will just be our wedding and the colours we like!!!!

Try this: stop focusing on a color scheme. When you are piking out something wedding related, just choose the one you like best. I’m sure a color scheme will develop! I planned on having no color scheme (a burlap and lace theme). But in setting up my website and ordering save the dates, it turned out that everything I like is brown and light green! I totally didn’t plan it to be that way, but a color scheme has developed and I’m going with it!

We did grey and cranberry red. Not a popular combo but I loved it!

Navy, coral, plum.

I think you just have to pick something and go with it. You are making yourself way too crazy over this. Pick what you like and the heck with who says what about it.

I wanted to switch my colors a few times. But my Fionce said “STOP! This is the last time your changing the colors, were sticking with Royal blue, chocolate and tan.” So help yourself by picking a color and having someone make sure you stop changin your mind.

Simply pick what you like. I think it’s a little excessive not to pick purple because someone you dislike picked a similar color (especially if you like it and want to use it). Who cares? I feel like every color scheme has been done, and it’s your wedding and it will be YOUR’S no matter what. There’s no way it will remind or resemble that of the person you dislike.

I also think the idea of doing navy with maybe a tan and darker orange accents would be beautiful since you like those colors, it’s a fall coclor cheme and tweaking the intesity will make it not so football teamish.

Make a decision and run with it! I promise it will be beautiful and you’ll look back and laugh at how stressed this is all making you 🙂
