@Meealissa- No, we’re not crate training him like that. He sleeps in the crate because we used to leave him out and he tore apart the couch and got into everything. But he’s getting older and better behaved so we’ve been trying to let him sleep on the floor in the bedroom. He loves it but he runs a marathon all night (well constantly walks around the bedroom). Maybe we should start looking for other doggie daycare centers…I like the idea of putting them in empty suites.
@CaraMia10- I’ll definitely update as to why he was put in the crate. He’s going to daycare Friday so I’ll find out then.

I just have to say, your dog is adorable! I love Laberdoodles.

The only reason our doggie daycare would do that is if he was being aggressive. Like my Rottie had food aggression, so if Santa was handing out treats she would have tried to kill any dog between her and Santa. Into the crate!

ah, facebook photos – that makes WAY more sense than sending doggy mommy a taunting picture with no explanation beisdes “Your dog is Jewish!” 🙂
Let us know what his infraction ended up being 😉

oh that pic broke my heart… everyone (even four-legs) deserves to see santa up close… eve if he is Jewish… he is just a puppy going through his first holidays!!!!

I will definitely let you know the infraction on Friday. I’m sooo curious myself. I tried to make up for him not getting to see santa by taking his picture by a friend’s tree this weekend. He also loved the wrapping paper, especially the colorful hanukkah paper, as you can see!

Hi! Sorry I didn’t get to update until now. My fiance asked on Friday about why he was in the crate and not playing with santa. He jokingly said, “Is it because he’s Jewish?” They just said that he was being rambunctious and tried to change the subject. My fiance dropped it and said “Well hopefully he’ll get a picture what Santa next year….”
In all fairness, he is a very bossy puppy so I’m sure he did something wrong. I just wish that they handled it differently. Hopefully it won’t happen again. He really loves it there and it’s the highlight of his week so we are going to continue sending him. He comes home exhausted after daycare and can barely keep his head up so I know he’s playing a lot and gets his energy out.
Thanks for thinking of him! 🙂

Aw, well hopefully next year he’ll be a little older and wiser and he’ll get to meet santa 🙂

He’s a gorgeous dog. I have a poodle X too and I bet brushing him is a task in itself!! How often do you have to brush him?

This is so cute and sad at the same time! I’m so conflicted…

He is adorable, and the term “jewpup” is new to me, and it made me almost spit my soda all over my laptop.
