Today I went home for lunch and SO went out with a few co-workers of his. No biggie. I ate some leftovers and looked around for some headphones to wear at work. I was looking through his nightstand when I SAW IT: A little black box.
My heart skipped a beat. This was so soon! He’s only been saving for a month! True, he had got a decent amount of cash for his birthday, but I thought it would at least take some time to get the ring made! Cautiously, I picked up the box, took a deep breath and opened it to reveal….
His class ring. Never have I felt so lame. I put the box back and went to work, kicking myself the whole way. 🙂

@SoobySays: Best story ever. 😀 In all seriousness, though, are you glad that it wasn’t the ring? And not for “it hasn’t been long enough” reasons, but for “I’m so glad I didn’t ruin the first look!” reasons.

Oh that sucks! I’m sorry, but hey, it just means he’s saving more to get an amazing sparkly! 🙂

I told my SO about this and read him the comments, (btw @ellisrobertson: I am SOOOO relieved I didn’t ruin the First Look!) and he said:
“Oh, If only I could show the Bees the sparkly I picked out for you… they would have a Beegasm!”
I love this man so much.
