First thing I thought of when I saw that Allure dress was your bustline, actually (and no, I don’t typically sit here thinking about your bustline so get over yourself 😀  )  The dress is to DIE for but I don’t think the sweetheart neckline will work with the gals.  The second one would be more flattering.  And it’s bee-yoo-tiful as well.

I think the Dolly is more vintage and garden party, but I also adore the allure’s bodice and skirt.

I’d say try on both the allure and a style in the store similiar to the dolly and see which works better.  THEN decide on which to get.

    🙂  Both are beautiful, though!!!

I voted for the allure.  i like the fabric better, and it just looks prettier and has a softer look to it.

Either sweetheart or v-necks are good for bigger-chested ladies.  It’s the straight-across ones that you need to avoid.

I think that they’re both great, and it’s impossible to know without seeing them on which would be better. Good luck!

I think the Allure is more garden party and the Dolly is more vintage but they are both beautiful.  Personally, I’d lean towards the Allure though.

I wouldn’t stress too much about the sweetheart neckline – I’m a 36F and sweetheart necklines look really good on me.  I have a lot more issues with necklines like those on the Dolly.

I love the Dolly!  I would go try on the Allure and see if they have something similar to the Dolly in the store so you could compare, I would be nervous not being able to try on the Dolly as well!  Both are great dresses!

It’s very pretty! Has a similar vibe to the JA dress.

I love the Dolly too though

Definitely go try on the Allure if you can. If it works, it would beat having to get a dress custom made.

I have been to the actual Dolly shop in Tarzana, CA and tried on some of the dresses and they are AMAZING in person!  I would say go with the Dolly.  They are amazing to work with and their dresses are just plain fabulous!

    I like the Allure!

The other is a little too plain – looks like what you would wear to a courthouse wedding.

i know nothing about having a big chest because the problem with  my dress is that i could fit basketballs in the chest area! (of course i will be getting it majorly altered)….but just from looking at the dresses above, I LOVE the allure.  i agree its softer looking and i also think it looks more like a wedding dress.  i find the dolly a bit “plain” in comparison – but thats just my preference. when i was dress shopping, i wasn’t happy with any dress that had any “plainess” to it (hence the ruffles on my Jenna)
