I like the Dolly, I think the top of the Allure looks way too heavy.

She has PLENTY of time for a dress since wedding is next year!!

MissTattoo…ok hon, I think you should go and try the Allure on…and ask to see if there is a dress similar to the Dolly then you can ensure you get an idea of what it would like like on.  I DON’T recommend just ordering online w/out ordering b/c if you get it and it doesn’t fit or you don’t like it your stuck with it.  GO TRY ON!!!!!!!!!  PS…hope Mr. Tattoo doesn’t see this thread! 😉

    Good luck I couldn’t pick…

I like the Allure because it’s so whimsical and how it fits around the waist. .

Both are lovely, but I have to say I prefer the Allure.  I think it would jive better with your garden party theme.

they both look great, i’m a little partial to the dolly. i’m busty so i’m afarid i would bust out iof the sweetheart neckline. My friend’s wedding dress was very similar to the Dolly she busty as well and it looked fab. On a side note i LOVE the red shoes in the Dolly pic.

I LOVE the Allure- it’s just so romantic. If you can pull off a good supportive strapless bra, I think it’s doable…

I actually think the Dolly Couture would be better for a garden party! To me the allure looks like a dress that is meant to be a long dress, but for some reasons stops short.

I also have the impression that the Dolly Couture might be more flattering on you.

However, if the Allure is at a shop close to you where you can go try it on, you should do it before ordering anything!

I voted Allure but I’m actually torn myself between the same two options so I’m loving following this and seeing how it turns out for you!

I tried allure on in person without knowing about it beforehand – but being in love on line with Dolly dresses.  Nervous about ordering a dress online I hadn’t tried on.

I also tried on the Aire Barcalona NAZARET – I loved it but it was more expensive.  The Allure was my 1st dress of the day and the nazaret my last at a different salon after many in between.

Allure was gorgeous on.  I’m about a D-E cup and I think it held the girls pretty good – there was good structure in the dress.  I don’t like not knowing about the Dolly structure.  I don’t actually want a strapless dress but the back on the dress is so pretty.  However, making alterations is possible and I’m considering a halter or tulle straps.

Or maybe even a bateau illusion / sheer top would be good.

Is the 10 just impossible for you to consider to try on – just for a feel?

This picture from the Allure website does NOT do the dress justice in person.  It has both a vintage and a garden feeling when it is on.  And it looks less silly sweet 16-ish.  Not quite sure what they’re going for here.

I need to go back and try it on again myself!

The Nazaret had more poof and I LOVED that when I tried it on.  And the tulle is so much fun.  And the structure in teh Nazaret is amazing.  It was also a perfect fit for me so that helped a lot.

I can’t wait to see what you decide!
