..It made me smile!!
So last night I was sitting on the front steps of SO’s house watching the rain come down with him, and I casually asked if it bothered him that I was always planning our wedding in my head. He told me that it doesn’t bother him at all, and that he wants me to feel like I have the freedom to plan, because he “doesn’t want it to be 2 months away and for things not to be well thoought-out.” Eeee!!!!
I know this won’t sound all that amazing to anyone else but I’m pretty sure my whole body lit up when he said that! 🙂 Considering we have been having a hard time getting over the difference of our timelines lately, it felt really good that he would say something like this.
Anyway, just had to share. 😀

The fact that he’s comfortable talking about it is a big deal. A lot of gal’s SO’s get uncomfortable with the discussion: “talk about it later”/”I don’t want to talk about it right now”, as if it’s a conversation about a funeral, not a wedding!
I just hope he doesn’t mean that he’ll wait until 2 months before your wedding day to propose, LOL!

@DreamingBee: Yea, he is definitely the type that will leave me to do most of the planning as he knows how much I love being creative. But I’m not scared that he’ll wait forever since I told him I want to be engaged before we move in together, and he said he’d like to live together for about a year before our wedding, so I think it should work out nicely.

Awww that is really sweet! I think its great that he is so comfortable with talking about it – it shows that it is well and truly on his mind and it is just a matter of time!
