I just started sobbing because of the last scene of this news clip.
What a beautiful, pure love between two people- married for 63 years!
Makes me want to just enjoy every moment and feel so blessed to have found my love. Make me want to forget the silly little trivialities that irk me about my Fiance and instead, hold his hand more, kiss him longer, forgive, forget, enjoy our youth and health.
It also makes me want to honor my body and my health so that I’m not robbing myself of time with my future husband and family. Seriously. I’m healthy now- but how dare I abuse my body with chemicals and crap when there are people who are sick, who would do anything to be healthy again.
Sorry, just feeling very emotional right now.

I just got to my shift at work. And I’m bawling.
I totally agree with you. Some people would give anything to be healthy again, or for that matter, young again. Thank you for this! Its nice to see things like this so we can all remember to cherish what we have each day!

Wow. Pat Robertson is a vile human being.
Thank you for posting this, even though the point of the news bit came from a really ugly, horrible comment, it had another, more positive message tucked in it.
My grandmother just passed away in June. She had a brain tumor, which changed her personality in a way that is similar to Alzheimers. It was heartrbeaking and difficult – but my grandfather was with her til the very end. Sure it would have been easier for him to walk away and “start over again” – but thats not what you do when you’re in a marriage you believe in.
