I thought the same thing! I wouldn’t be able to tell you. My dress is “soft white.” lol.

I believe white is actually white, where a diamond white still looks white, but looks offwhite when compared next to white.

@Gingersnap: white is white…like pure bright white…diamond white is “softer”

yeah its a less harsh white, has a bit more of an ivory colouring to it (but not as much as actual ivory)

@Gingersnap: Thats what I thought too when reading the color names online.  But if you go to a store they can show you the difference.  Diamond white is more towards ivory.

Diamond white it between white and ivory. Different designers have different shades I suppose but the only way I can tell diamond white is not a true white is by holding it next to white.

My dress is Daimond White, but it seems to have a warmer undertone than the white version.  I took it to the light and the best way to describe is it is a warmer white.  Hope I did not confuse you more.

@Gingersnap: For your information, you can check here: http://www.veilsbyroxanne.com/colors.htm

My dress is diamond white… which is between white and ivory. It is not that white when you place it next to a white dress, but it is not as dark as ivory when it is next to an ivory dress
