Bees! My Reception Venue is next to the ocean. I have chosen my flowers, linens.. but I need help with the chairs! My decorations match the photo below my venue, all white hydrangeas and roses. The wedding reception will start at approx 5PM on a November afternoon!

Any of them will work great.

I love the look of the Walnut/Gold, it give off a very classic, elegant look.

I voted for mahogany because I’ve seen rough gold chiavaris because they have to be painted instead of stained. If you go for the gold, ask to see a sample first so you know that they’re in good shape!!

Thanks Ladies! I originally wanted the Mahogany chairs, but I think it is too much of a contrast. I think the lighter ones will tone it down, then again my reception will be at sunset. So should I add the darker chairs? Any other voters out there?!

I much prefer the lighter chairs, expecially with that color scheme. Let the location and the simplicity speak for itself. The people and the lighting will be the contrast.

I am having a similar colour scheme (white long banquet tables and white centrepieces) and I was tossing up between white Chiavari chairs or gold.
In the end, I opted for gold as I think it adds a lovely dimension to the white tables and centrepieces, and I think they would look nicer in photos.
I feel that mahogony is a little too dark for the softness of your colour scheme and decor.

The good news is that either color will be classy and elegant…I prefer the gold with your color scheme and time of day though. 🙂
