I’m sorry for your SO’s dad’s illness.  I was en route when my dad died after a long and debilitating decline and, honestly, all I wanted to do when I got there was to be able to see him and say goodbye.  Hope there’s not any family drama to deal with for you guys.

Perhaps the imminent death of someone she must have had some positive feelings toward at some point is causing her to reassess her behaviour!?!  Thoughts with you and your family during this trying time.

Hmmmm….sounds sketch. I’d ignore it and go on your own terms. Does she usually do nice things and expect to be thanked a gazillion times? Or does she like the spotlight?

Sending good thoughts your way.

So sorry to hear it.  This is tough.  It’s always hard when someone you love so much is experiencing grief.  I never know if I’m doing enough or too much.  Like I want be supportive but not smothering.  Plus you have your own grief to deal with.  Stay strong you’ll get through it!
