It is a lot of work but it will all come together!!! Don’t give up hope. I was actually surprised how everything started coming along once I made plans.

i planned our entire wedding in 5 months from another country.  i went back to ontario a week before the wedding to finalize smaller details.  it worked out perfectly.  mind you, i am a very organized person with attention to detail.

sometimes i felt like it wasn’t coming together until i looked at my spreadsheets and realized, it’s all good.

feel free to pm me with any questions or concerns.  i’ll help you.

The final plans for our wedding were planned the last month. The caterer we knew we wanted only required a weeks notice. Final count was actually due 2 days before. The cupcakes were ordered two days before pickup. The decorations mostly came from Oriental Trading and were ordered the last 6 weeks in seperate shipments to take advantage of coupons earned. As well as free shipping. Centerpiece items were also purchased over the last 6 weeks.

It will work out, have your plans made then once you are in your new place, order away.

I think a lot of people hit that point of panic. It’s okay and everything will come together. If Fiance isn’t into planning and wedding talk, rely on people in your bridal party even if it’s just to hear you vent!

My wedding is on November 3rd and I freaked out about 3 weeks ago because we had nothing done. We didn’t even have the church booked. The freak out moment actually helped me get focused and back on track. I’m currently in Utah and the wedding will be in FL and we are also in the process of planning our move from Utah to FL at the beginning of July. So definitely understand that not wanting to order things etc. I finally got to the point where I just started asking friends if I could have stuff shipped to their places. I also did a lot of internet inquiries since I could send those out at midnight and didn’t have to work about the company being open or not. I’m also lucky enough to have 2 amazing friends as BMs who both want to be wedding planners and are willing to talk wedding with me any time any place!

You’ll start making progress, don’t worry!!!!

 @cherryblossomlove:

I’m right there with you sister girl!  I don’t have any kids but I work two jobs and have 1 day off a week. I am 140 days out and all I have is my venue booked, ordered my gown, the flower girl dresses, the material for my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses to which no one has sent me their measurements because they are all saying they are trying to lose weight, and some decorations.

Still need to book a photograher, caterer, florist, dj, transportation, rental company for chairs, tables, tent.  My website isn’t finished so I cant send out my STD.  I haven’t even done a mock up of my invitations or programs.  I don’t have any of the accesories for myself or the bridal party, my hair is falling out.  I ordered my dress 1 size to small so I could lose weight and I was losing weight then I had to have surgery and I can’t work out probably for another month or may be longer.  Guest list is still not completed because Fiance won’t give me names of people he want to invite and then everytime someone ask him about the wedding then he comes to me to add that person to the list.

Then my lovely Fiance keeps asking me what the theme for the wedding is.  I’ve told him a million times there is no damn theme!!  I’m a so over this whole thing!
