As a guest, I’d rather attend the sunset ceremony – I’m not a morning person!

I voted sunset because I hate getting up early and think some of your guest might appreciate that. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m not a morning person either ๐Ÿ™ Plus having to get up extra early to do your hair and makeup, I don’t think I’d love it. AND think about what time you’d have to get up to get ready!! I think sunset would be fantastic and you could always string up some Christmas lights if anyone wanted to stay when it was dark, or have a bonfire.

I think a sunset ceremony would be more romantic, and easier on your guests than a morning ceremony.  People are more likely to feel like getting dressed up in the eveing IMO.  So that’s what I would do if it were my decision.

@TequilaSunrise: You could always do an iPod “reception” too for some dancing if you felt like it, or if you have any friends with a decent singing voice and a guitar, you could ask them to sing at the bonfire. That would be so cozy and romantic ๐Ÿ™‚

Sunset is my vote along with the many reason hear paper lanters are fairly easy / cheap decorations and just look so beautiful. Even just plain candles can be very romantic if it is getting darker.

    both beautiful ideas.

As far as the land it can’t hurt to ask, she might even let the rental fee go as a wedding present. can always ask and have a back up option if needed.

Although I love the sound of a morning ceremony, I am NOT a morning person, and I think most people aren’t.  Besides, a sunset ceremony just sounds so much more romantic to me!
