Ok, so I have a lot of respect for women who are CFBC and choose to stick to their guns in spite of family opposition and judement from society. I firmly believe that it’s your body, your choice.

This is not the post you probably wanted to see, and I’m going to get some heat but I honestly couldn’t care less. This is an open forum.

Personally I think, this idea of “posting the things they have done that week that would have been difficult/impossible of they had children” seems a bit smug and condescending. It’s almost as bad as those who put posts up saying “I’m going to post the things I did with my kid this week because they bring so much joy to my life. My life would be incomplete without kids!”

Both sides of the coin are very annoying. Believe it or not, you can live a fullfilling life WITH and WITHOUT kids! Get over yourselves!

PS: This is literally the first time I have posted on a CFBC board.

    Going with greywacke here.

No kids but… not even 30 yet and I can’t handle the bar scene till 1am anyway lol.

But all this stuff you can do with kids. Unless you have an unsupportive spouse and family.

    greywacke :  OH FFS.

I can assure you that NO ONE in the no kids board, not one of us CFBC bees would give a crap if you posted threads in the kids or parenting boards about all the great things you did with your kids over the week or how complete your life is.  Have at it.  We DON’T CARE.  It is YOU who cares so much, is so threatened or jealous or whatever by cfbc women that you feel the need to come here with this noise.  Get over yourself.  And get out of the no kids section with that garbage.

barbie86 :  My last week was a bit uneventful.  But this week, right now in fact, I am busy planning our upcoming trip to Mexico!  I’m super excited.  Feeling the pressure though because I procrastinated planning and it’s coming up quick.  I found a local “dining concierge” though that can assist us with restaurant recs and reservations so I don’t have to scour chowhound boards to handle that part, woo hoo!

Why don’t we ALL stop trying to justify ourselves anyway? Child free or not you made your choice and I highly doubt one’s OTHER choice on the OTHER side of the world or even next door has any effect on your life.

barbie86 :  Although I’m CF because of biology, not by choice, but I’m trying to change my attitude to appreciate the blessings of my CF life. This week I:

    • stayed up until 2 am playing video games
    • slept in until 9 am
    • chose to live off cupcakes and Coke Zero on Sunday just because I could, the hell with eat your greens
    • took a spontaneous trip with my Fiance to another city
    • spent several thousand dollars on wedding bands ๐Ÿ˜€

I agree! The problem with both sides CFBC and those forcing people to breed like it’s their life’s purpose is that they constanly feel the need to justify their actions by putting up posts like this. HAHA MY LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOURS BECAUSE I CHOSE TO BREED/TO NOT BREED.

Seriously, just live and let live. Believe me, I don’t give a crap if you choose to pop something out of your vagina or not. It’s your superior attitude that infuriates me. Like when you tell someone that you don’t believe in God and they say “I will pray for you”.

This weekend we’re having a house guest from out of town. We’ll be taking her to a few local breweries and then a huge town bonfire. I know we might be able to do that with kids but it would be a completely different experience. Without kids, we don’t have to stick to a schedule and can just do our own thing. I’ve been out to breweries with and without kids. It’s better without kids.
