So I had a greatly productive DIY weekend! And since my mom and Fiance were wholly unimpressed with my progress (the words “whatever” and “why” were tossed around), I thought I’d show the hive. I love quick projects that make me feel like I’m getting things done!
The first one was actually NOT quick… but I finally finished all my invites!!! I did a prototype a few weeks ago, but I finally got them ALL done today. Yay!
I also did signs for the ceremony to tell people we’re not doing brides side and grooms side (my family is way bigger than FI’s). And Mr. and Mrs. signs for our chairs at the reception (this is what Fiance was confused about). And I did the table numbers because they were so easy I didn’t see a reason not to as long as I had my printer, paper cutter, and glue stick all handy.
By the way, these were all done with dark blue pearlescent cardstock and cream linen cardstock… but because I took the photos with my iphone they look kinda yellowy 🙂
Feel free to post pics of your recent DIY projects!

Wow it’s so pretty! I love the font. If we do a sweetheart table I would like to do Mr and Mrs signs

@kate169: i swiped it off someone else in the hive (except I can’t remember who!) so please, feel free!
@JennyW1: what is a home craft station? I was just spread out on the coffee table in my living room. Not that much room so I had stuff sitting on my paper cutter. lol
