As of today, I’m 3 days out.
– American Ailines is screwing with our honeymoon flights.
– I had my had my hair colored, in a salon, last night. I wanted medium brown. It looks almost black today.
– I woke up with a cystic pimple developing on my chin.
Wedding weekend here I come!
(On the bright side, I think the weather is going to be spectacular Sunday — 72 and sunny in San Diego. And I’m off work until Wednesday! And I’m getting married.)

@Balboa: Do a “hot wash” if you wash your hair with really hot hot hot water its supposed to help the color fade a little!

I am sorry about all of this. I am also afraid of American Airline because we are using them for our honeymoon but I spoke to a rep and she says if anything happens they will move everyones flight to another carrier.

I’m with the recommendation of washing your hair in the hot water as well. I get cystic acne alot- make sure you don’t touch it – like EVER– and put tons of treatment on it as many times a day as you can. I use benzoyl peroxide but I know others like salycilic acid & other things. Could you go a day or two without makeup- that might help it calm down. Don’t stress it though, photographers can do amazing things with Photoshop!

Thanks for the support, ladies. 🙂
I have to say I’ve never, ever been so relieved to see expensive color go right down the drain! The still-pretty-dark hair is growing on me (pun!) but I think it means I’m going to have to kick the makeup up a notch this weekend. As for the blemish, I’m doing tea tree oil and ice, and nothing but sunscreen on top. I’m going to check with an aesthetician tomorrow and, if she says it’s warranted, I’ll try a derm for one of those cortisone shots I always thought were just for famous people.
ACTime — I have to say when I’ve interacted with American they’ve always been pretty nice. Fiance is handling this one. We are going a day early now, but they aren’t compensating us at all for the extra hotel. Maybe because were using miles? Hopefully you won’t run into any problems. (Also, we’re not leaving until mid November and the called us Tuesday, so maybe if you’re leaving sooner and havent been called then you’re already in the clear!)
