So, my Fiance ordered a custom dress shirt, and my Future Father-In-Law a suit as well. They were super excited about their classy new attire, how perfectly they would fit, how the tailor paid such specific attention to the little things that make shirts and suits look great. THEN. He was to go pick them up the Monday before the wedding, and THE STORE HAD GOTTEN ROBBED THE NIGHT BEFORE!! Who robs a custom suit store?! They’ve said that they will find a replacement shirt/ suit (not custom, but tailored to their measurements) but OMG REALLY? I feel like I’m in some kind of bad wedding movie! When Fiance told me, I was unsure as to laugh or cry! Either way, I know my Fiance is going to look dashing on Saturday, and it’s the fact that we’re getting married that really matters.
Anyone else have major mens wardrobe drama just before the big day?

@graygodess20: Yes, luckly the store has some good insurance- he’s supposed to be getting fitted for a Dior suit tomorrow, which he will get for free, and then they will remake the custom suit. So in the end (if this all works out!) we’ll have a free suit… even if I’ve lost some of my sanity!

Atleast your not being a bridezilla about this!! your staying calm and keeping what matters most priority.. marrying the man you love. good luck with everything and stay calm… no need to go crazy over a little detail, im sure you would think your Fiance would look amazing in a berlap sack!!!

Before my sister’s wedding I was helping out running errands the day before and went to pick up tuxes. My Dad’s tux was missing and the groom’s vest was missing. I was pissed but they fed-exed replacements for missing suits to my parent’s house the morning of, and it all turned out fine. I’m sure your fiance and father in law will look dashing.
