So my wedding is over, I only had to buy myself one drink lol.
we had offered all guests, champagne for toasting, white or red wine, and pimms.
if they wanted anything else they had to buy it themselves.

I always felt that having a dry wedding is more rude than having a cash bar. The same way when some people who live a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle only serve that type of food and people who do not live that way are forced to eat it. With the amount we have put into the food choices, I see no one being unhappy that we have cash bars. Also, my FH and I are both event photographers and out of all the receptions we’ve attended socially and during work, I have been to one wedding with an open bar and that’s it. The rest were cash or dry to respect the religious beilefs of the couple/family.

Whoops! I totally forgot, but we have paid for everyone to have a glass of champagne for toasting which will be supplied by the caterers.
