My Mother-In-Law volunteered to buy us most of the supplies for our candy buffet, so I let her select containers. She chose little takeout style containers in our primary wedding color and also some small plastic baggies because we had a couple of things that wouldn’t fit in the boxes, like Twizzlers. From what I could tell, many people put their candy in the bags, and the bags in the containers.

I am having a desert/candy buffet and am having plain lunch bags for people to take things home in ( I think I would do the same if I was just having candy, but I would chose smaller bags.

I really like the small Chinese take out carton. When I was planning to do that as a favor, I picked cute clear ones that I planned to embellish with ribbons in our wedding colors and stamping our wedding date on them.

We also used the small takeout boxes, we added a little sticker with our photo/name/date (free address labels from VistaPrint!). I saw that you thought they wouldn’t fit with your theme though…we ordered ours from PaperMart online, they had tons of different bags and boxes! You should check it out.

We had small candy jars for our guests that held about .3 pounds of candy, but since we bought about .5 pound per guest we also provided plain white bags.
