We had decided to TTC after we got married. My doc was concerned that I may have endometriosis due to numerous symptoms I was having and so she recommended that we TTC sooner rather than later because she thought it would take us a while to get pregnant (assuming that I could). So we did and surprise surprise we got pregnant on our first try….

We’re still pretty young, both 25, and have been married for 8 months. We decided to wait for a few years b/c we want to be older when we have our first, preferably around 27/28. However, if we had gotten married at 30 & 40 I don’t think we’d be waiting at all! 🙂 Good Luck!!

We decided to wait and probably start trying after our first year anniversary. But I got baby fever after we bought our new home that was actually big enough to start a family in, which was probably about 6-7 months after the wedding. About a month prior to the one year mark he felt ready to start trying to, we both figured it would take a while anyways…maybe we should have waited that extra month, because on our anniversary I was about five weeks pregnant and totally unable to function or celebrate due to morning sickness!

We decided we would try in a year or two but I’m not on the pill anymore so Ill probably get pregnant sooner than later! We decided whenever it happens we’ll be happy about it!

We decided to wait one year initially (I’m 20, he’s 30), but have since pushed it back even further. However, if we wanted to get pregnant right away, we are financially/emotionally ready for a child. We just want to wait and have some time with us as a couple before adding a baby into our life.

We haven’t really thought out a concrete date yet. The whole thing still kinda scares me a bit, but we both want it eventually. I’ve said sooner than later, and before I’m 30. I’ll be 26 this year. I’m not in a good place with work, and well haven’t been for a year. So I don’t want to switch jobs be happy and then put it off. If I’m making sence. We are still talking it through 🙂

@bride202:  I’m due in July. I didn’t think I was pregnant. Took 3 tests all negative. Husband told me I was in denial. Called the doc, had a blood test and I was pregnant. Good luck!

We had initially planned to wait about 3 more years (I’m 26 Darling Husband is 27), but then we decided that the career timing was better now, and I have always wondered how fertile we are since we have been together over 6 years and not had a single pregnancy scare, and we hav been less than careful with BC at times. So we decided to get started right away instead!

We decided to wait. We’ve got a little bit back and forth about how long, though. We’ve been married for over a year. We’ll probably start really trying this time next year. I’m 26 and he’s 28, if that makes any difference. We agree that we’ll have a kid by the time I’m 30 so we’ll have some time to decide if we want a second.

At the moment we’re planning on waiting until Fiance graduates from law school (May of 2015).

I go through stages of ready to start RIGHT NOW and wanting to wait a bit. I certainly don’t want to wait longer than two years. I’m 27 and he’s 34 (and already has a five year old son), and my clock is definitely ticking like crazy, but I’m trying to slow down. We aren’t even married yet!

We didn’t make a conscious decision to TTC but it was always going to be up to God and as it turned out I fell pregnant on honeymoon !!
