On the day of, keep a little emergency kit with you and make sure it has a little sewing kit and safety pins! (I stepped on my skirt during pre-wedding pics and it ripped a little.)

Expect stress in the final weeks/days before… it was literally the most surreal, stressful thing I’ve ever done (and I had a tiny wedding by most people’s standards).  Get all your DIY done at least a week before the day.

Do not leave anything to the last minute.  I had everything done at least a week or two before the wedding so my wedding week I had downtime which was great because I had time to help all the other people who waited last minute.  And had time to be pampered and just hang out.

@PitBulLover: Haha, no, we went to Dollar Tree and bought some cube vases, and half 2 different kinds of centerpieces, LOL.  It actually looked really nice!
