For a destination type wedding the acceptance rate is about 50 percent because people are broke these days. But you will save money too by having less people. Maybe there is a smaller room? So it will be more cozy Looking. What is up with peoples brothers and sisters not coming anyway… Its a common theme on theme boards. If my sister cancelled on me id be furious. Anyway, a small wedding is a small wedding, So 20 people will be a nice time Im sure.

We’re not married yet, but were also inviting 50 and I’m hoping for less than that. I want an intimate affair.

I’m sorry your whole guest list can’t make it. I’m sure when my RSVP starts coming in,I’ll be upset that people are declining. You put so much effort into this day, and you just want to share it with those you love. I’m sure everyone has their reasons, but the siblings should be there (except for the sister on bed rest, that’s a given). Not everyone can travel due to budget, time away, child care etc.

In the end, those that could make it did, and your getting married, that’s all that matters. Enjoy your day, and have fun!
