I bought my dress from DB about a month ago for ninety nine bucks. I walked in not expecting much but ended up buying something. I hadn’t checked anywhere else before that. We are eloping so my dress being a stunner wasn’t a necessity for me. I just wanted something nice to get married in.  Sorry if you have already seen this pic.

Sample sales are an option to get wine on a beer budget. If you follow the Facebook pages of local bridal salons you will be able to see when they have sample sales and you can find a nice dress within your budget!

My dress was $350 and it was gorgeous. I had it made by a local seamstress- an option I don’t see many bees using, but a great one I think!

(Not the most flattering picture haha but it shows off the dress!)

This is my dress! It was $240 and I got it at a local bridal shop. I looked at destination wedding styles because I wanted simple and only a tiny train. My runner up was only $400 and was a lace sheath with an open back. I’m still debating if I should have two dresses 😉

I got mine as a sample…not sure if that counts!  It was from a local boutique, and they had mistakenly sold me a dress in a color that was discontinued, so they let me take the sample for 40% off (it was only 1K to begin with).  It needed some spot cleaning, but overall in good shape!

I got my dress from DB for $550 with tax and the underskirt and it took me about 45 minutes to pick. I knew what I wanted, really.

I got my dress at DB! It was about $550. I looked at other local bridal shops, but this dress was my fave.

I got mine at a sample sale – it had barely been tried on and cost me $500.  I did spend $350 on alterations though!

Mine is a DB dress but purchased on EBay since it was discontinued. I got it for $360. I am expecting about $3-400 in alterations though. I haven’t been able to actually try it on since I got it though since I bought it while pregnant!

mine is from db. I tried on 4 or 5 dresses and this was the last one. I love it because it’s simple, and had gorgeous little details. I’m open to selling it, if you’re in southern california. size 14 only hemmed.

I window shopped over the course of a few months. Tried on fewer than you’d expect. Found mine in the bridesmaids section. It came in several traditional bridal colors. Was around $125.00.

I spent a bit more on my veil and undies! The undies definitely were worn more than once. 🙂
