I’m not sure yet what i’m wearing to the events.  Interested to see what everyone else did!

If I can find ivory dresses I like, I’ll be wearing them to all (with the exception of the small family brunch shower that is supplementing the big shower).  I don’t think I will the day after, though.

    1) Engagement Party – wore silver cocktail dress

    2) Not having a shower

    3) Joint bachelor/bachelerotte party – debating between white dress and a champagne dress

    4) Rehearsal – Might wear a sundress (non white)

Day after – In my culture we have a “next day” wedding so I got a 2nd wedding dress that is much simpler than my actual wedding dress.  Typically this dress is white/ivory but mine will be blush.

Bees, help me understand this: is it a tradition to wear white on all those occasions before the wedding????????????

I would do the complete opposite and not wear ivory or white, just to be different from the wedding gown…

I don’t know that it’s a tradition, but my guess is most girls don’t typically wear white so being a bride, you want to milk it for all it’s worth.

I haven’t decided but I need to. My shower is on Saturday! I’m either going to wear a white dress with bright flowers on it, or blue/white skirt. For the rehearsal I’ll probably wear a white dress and definitely for post-reception and morning gift opening.

I didn’t wear any solid white/ivory, but my rehearsal dinner dress is a black and while floral print.

I would have liked to wear white to my shower, but I couldn’t find a dress I liked.  I ended up only wearing white to the rehearsal dinner.

The only one I am likely not wearing white/ivory/cream to is my bachelorette.  Gonna try for red on that one. =)
