Okay I have a trick that most of you will probably think..WHAT!!! But here goes. Phillips Original Milk of Magnesia. I am a You Tube make up tutorial fanatic and I got this tip about a year ago and I swear it is awesome. Check it out. I ahve to say I use a couple different primers and by far this is the best. Just be sure not to get the mint or cherry flavors.

I’m using Laura Mercier oil-free primer.  So far I like it for my t-zone, but i haven’t tried any others, so I don’t have anything to compare to.  I was using Nars Sheer Matte foundation, but I’m trying out Makeup Forever Mat Velvet and so far I think I like it a bit better.  Both are very good at preevnting your skin from looking shiny, but I think the Nars is just a bit drier, so it doesn’t glide on as smoothly.

Do you ever use Rice Paper to blot your face!? I do it BEFORE I put on my primer (Smash Box) but after the Cetaphil (Facail Moisturizer I use) Access Grease that maybe surfaced! =) I love MACs Studio Fix compact! =) And I use my Skunk Brush with it too!

I also use concealer (Smashbox) a little more than the avg. bear and in my known “oily” spots!

I suggest using an exfoliating face wash (I use St. Ives Apricot!) every other day too! =) Best of Luck!

I use PCA Skincare… Their entire line for oily skin for my skincare.  Then I use MAC Face Primer and MAC Pressed Powder.  Amazing!

I have very oily skin and I have tired everything out there.  I think primers only make my face more oily. I’ve been using Clinique Acne Solutions foundation and Clinique Loose Translucent Loose Powder for the last few years along with blot papers and I’m happy with it. Using a Benzoyl Peroxide cleansers may help with drying out some of the oil on your face.

I plan on sneaking in face blotting throughout my wedding day!
