My ring is currently a 5.25 with sizing balls put in so that it still goes over my knuckles but doesn’t spin as much (although it still spins like crazy when its cold). Fiance is about to order my wedding band but I’m unsure on what size to get it in? FYI it’ll be an eternity band so I really want to get the size as accurate as possible. Thanks!

I don’t know how helpful this would be, but my wedding band is the same size as my e-ring, but I don’t have those sizing balls you’re talking about

I’m the same ring size as you and I have sizing balls in my engagement ring as well as my wedding band. Both rings are five and a quarter. The sizing balls made all the difference with the engagement ring, which was otherwise constantly twirling around my finger.
My wedding band is also an eternity band, but it has a little divot to fit into the e-ring. We put the sizing balls in on the recommendation of our jeweler so that it will stay fitted into place. I’ve only tried it on, and haven’t worn it yet (getting married on Saturday!), but it fits really well and stays in place with the sizing balls. If your band is a perfect circle with no divot like mine, you may not need the sizing balls however. Perhaps you might try it without? They can always add them later. Good luck!

I don’t know I could be of any help, but the jeweler told me I was a size 4.5. They could not size my ring down to a 4.5 “safely”, so they sized it down to a 5 and added the balls. It is not as tight as they intended it to be with the size 4.5, but I think it fits just right. I want to say that they once told me my ring was a 3.75 with the sizing balls but that can’t be right!!!
If you are trying to figure out what size you are so you can order your band without the sizing balls then just go get measured at a jewelry store. Definitely don’t mess around guessing.

I recently got those “ring snuggies” and it works pretty well. I barely notice it and I can take it off easily since my knuckles are huge.

@ms.jellen: what’s a sizing ball?
my mind went to the gutter as soon as I read the title lol

My engagement ring is a size 7. It spun like crazy so I put the sizing balls in it. Now, similar to your, it goes over my knuckles and fits better on my finger .. only spinning when I’m super cold. So I ordered my wedding band in a 6.75. It fits PERFECTLY. Doesn’t spin.. doesn’t move.. isn’t too loose, isn’t too tight. So maybe go .25 down too.
