I think thats a good idea. I had my ears pierced when I was around 1, so I never had the option to think about it lol. I had 8 ear piercings when I was in college, but now only wear the first hole. Youll love having your ears pieced, it really doesnt hurt.

Just a little update 🙂 I did it!! Two weeks ago, went and had it done. One hurt more than the other – but it wasn’t bad at all 🙂 I went to a piercing shop and had it done. I’m a side sleeper, so sleeping that first week was a PAIN (literally!!)… and soaking them in salt water a few times a day has also been a bit of an inconvenience (I’m supposed to do so for 4-6 more WEEKS), But, thankfully, they are healing well and not red/irritated at all. I bump them sometimes and it HURTS… I’ll be so glad once they are all healed up and I can start wearing fun earrings!! Thanks, bees! 🙂

I did the same thing at the beginning of this month. I also did mine at a tatoo parlor and it was a great experience. The piercer was very careful and four weeks later I have had no sign of infection. Keep up with the salt soaking because it really does make them heal faster.

I just had my ears pierced three weeks ago at age 24. I went to a legitimate piercing studio because I wanted it done with sterile technique and a sharp needle would hurt less than a gun. I almost fainted in the studio, I had to sit down. It hurt A LOT more than I expected, but the pain is over immediately, maybe half a second. The needle hurts a lot going through, but once it was in, I couldn’t feel it at all anymore. That said, I still can’t sleep on my side without the equivalent of a hemorrhoid pillow for my ear.
I clean them twice a day, they are on and off itchy the first few weeks, but it doesn’t hurt to clean and rotate them, except maybe it feels like picking off a small scab for the first couple days.
I am SO EXCITED about being able to wear pretty earrings finally!!! I think I’m going to rent really really nice diamond earrings for my wedding day. That said, I would never have anything pierced ever again.

I did it! I had my ears pierced when I was younger but let them grow shut. But I really wanted to be able to wear earrings on my wedding day, and hadn’t had ANY luck finding nice clip ons, so I sucked it up and went to Clarie’s in the mall and them pierced. (I’m 30 years old!) It hurt for a split second and that’s it.
