I showed this to my Fiance last night, and he wants to use it in our e-pics in a few weeks lol.  We’ve been together for 11 years, engaged for 10 of those, so it totally fits!

@Creiddylad:  *sigh* me too! I was a serious PITA between January and March of this year, but have been quiet since then. So, I think I can still use it! LOL I fear that when he proposes I might actually say finally! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Creiddylad:  I’m going to attribute my PITA syndrome to the holidays and to all of the engagements that happened around that time. One of my close friends who has only been with her SO for like a year got engaged and her now Fiance seemed to enjoy rubbing it in my face for some reason. Pretty annoying. I also REALLY hope I don’t say “finally” to my SO when the time comes. For some reason though, I can’t actually envision how I’ll feel, so I have this fear that I’m going to feel jaded and not excited or anything. I’m sure that I’ll be excited; judging by posts from other bees who had to wait a long time, I’ll be excited and happy and this waiting will have all been worth it! Fingers crossed ๐Ÿ™‚

I picked up supplies to make the sign today!  One of my best friends (who is an amazing artist!) is going to paint it for me, otherwise it would have stick figures lol.  So excited!

@Creiddylad:  We definitely have a good sense of humour about how long we’ve been engaged, its something we can laugh about with no hurt feelings.  In all honesty, I’m glad we waited, when he proposed he said he wanted to be wearing a uniform when he married me, and last year I watched him graduate from a law enforcement program, something that has taken almost 10 years to achieve (long story).  But we’re thrilled.  I can however see how it wouldn’t be for everyone, lol!

I will post it when its done!
