Yes, I like to plan what happens after I die.
I have an agenda and at the back of it I have all my computer sites and passwords so my “next of kin” can go in to all of these and delete or at least tell people I died instead of “dissappearing”. At least people will know why I am not on the bee anymore!
These include all sites: Facebook, online bills, weddingbee, kijiji, etc…

At the moment I have everything in my head, but I have wondered what would happen to all my accounts once I die. I always just figured I would leave my passwords in my will so that my next of kin could close my accounts.

I guess mine will all be stuck in cyber space – I am sure FI knows my passwords but if he remembers all the sites i use that is another story 🙂

DH knows all of my passwords but I doubt he would know what sites.

FI and I know each other’s main passwords (we each have about four that we use for most everything), but I doubt he would know my user names or sites.

FI would be able to access my banking since we share accounts. But other than that he wouldn’t know how to get into my email, FB, etc. However, if he tried hard enough, he could get in. My passwords are all variations of the same one.

Well I use the same password for everything and Fi knows it and they are all automaticly on all my websites. But I dont think he would think to tell the Bees that I died but I have enough Bees on my facebook that I am sure one would come and let all of you know 🙂

DH could get into banking stuff but probably not much else. And that’s okay with me.

FI knows most of my passwords, and the rest are saved in my browser. I think FI would be able to figure out the important ones that aren’t saved. I know most of his passwords as well.

I know FI’s passwords and log-ins to stuff, but he doesn’t know mine. He thinks he knows mine, but unlike him I don’t use the exact same password for everything
I know he can log into my computer, and on my laptop I am automatically logged in to several websites. I’m sure he wouldn’t ever think of doing anything with my online life anyway.

my DH just died 🙁 and luckily my In-laws either figured out the passwords or I knew it, because we knew him so well.

@starry: I am so sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I know all DH’s passwords – they are pretty much the same for everything but mine are all in my head and are very random. I never thought of writting them down before but maybe I will.

Mine are written down. But I don’t know if my SO would be in the right frame of mind to delete everything.

I have passwords for most of the important stuff (online bills, etc) written down on a sticky on my computer. For social media though…. it is just in my head. My husband would figure out twitter/weddingbee if he thought about it for a minute… he would never figure out facebook. Although I have my facebook load through his ipad so he wouldn’t actually need to figure that out.
But honestly I seriously doubt he would think to close down my social media. And I guess I wouldn’t much care either eay because I presume things like facebook wouldn’t be very important to me at that point!
