I would. but I’d inspect it in person before handing over the money.

i love almost anything second hand.  it would be a smart buy.  you could negotiate for a few more bucks off.

ExpectingBee:  A car seat, no way. But a stroller, sure why not?

Absolutely! I loved the Baby Jogger City Elite which was $499 (plus tax) Canadian in store and bought mine used for $250. It was in awesome condition, clean, not faded at all.

Yes I would and have bought a used stroller in the past. I got my BOB Revolution SE for $80 off craigslist ($400 new for the color combo I got). I’m all about a good deal for things like that!

A stroller? Sure, why not buy used but I would buy it locally and inspect it first.  I would also pay only 1/2 the new cost. Why don’t you check out your local Craig’s List or even join a community shop and swap on Facebook?

I would! if it’s only been used for 6 months and it’s in the condition they say I think that’s a really good deal.

I have the exact same stroller in green. I only used ours with a car seat but the stroller doesn’t look all too comfy. I say if you like it go ahead and get it.

Yep I would, if it is in good shape and no recalls on it why not?

I bought an Uppababy Vista off Kijiji for $400, and it retails for $800-$900 in Canada, plus it came with a bassinet stand so that we can use the bassinet at home, and also some other accessories. And, it was a 2013 model, in brand new condition. The woman said she had only used it for less than a year until her second child was born, and she didn’t want to use it as a double because the baby was a boy, and the stroller was pink…oooook.. lol.

So, I’m totally stoked that I bought this stroller second-hand… it took me about a month of checking kijiji everyday for the best deals/finding the strollers that came with the most accessories (cup holder, car seat adapter, rain cover, footmuff etc…, and checking out stroller reviews to see which was the best value for us.

I think it’s a good idea to look at the year of the model too, because there were a lot of Vistas that were being listed, but were like, 2009/2010 models, for about the same price. Usually, people use the stroller for about 3-4 years for one child, and it will have considerably greater wear. Obviously, I’m going to take the newest model.
