My nieces have 2 middle names, and my SIL who just had a daughter last month also has 2 middle names.  It’s pretty common around me.

My little sister has  3 middle names. Two for aunts that have passed away and one for our  grandma.

Its never really been a problem for her.

I know plenty of people with two middle names.

I have two middle names, which is usually not an issue until it comes to filling out forms of any kind!

Now on most of my documents (licence, passport, etc.) read as first name, first middle name, second middle initial, last name. Or first and second middle name squished together or half of the second middle name.

Minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of thing, so certainly go for it if both middle names are important to you!

In the U.S., people get judged not for being given 2 middle names, but for actually putting them in their signatures. It’s like it’s ok to name your kid John Smith III, But people eyeroll people who actually sign their name John Smith III.

I have 2 middle names and I like it. It has never been an issue for me for government documents or forms.

I wouldn’t want to deal with it. When asked for a middle initial the kid is going to use only one anyway.

i have two middle names.  FYI since literally no paperwork ever has a place for your second middle name, it pretty much never comes up.  It’s just like a weird anecdote about me I can sometimes mention.

My second middle name is actually the name I want to give my daughter, if I have one.

Do what you want regardless of other people. However,  I have two middle names and it’s annoying and I hate them both. Mom couldn’t even get 1 name right that I would like. Needless to say I will not be giving my kid 2 middle names. If it’s  a boy it will have my dad’s middle name and if it’s  a girl it will have my grandma’s.

I am a US bee (family origins are English on one side and Scottish on the other). I have two middle names. I like my name and am pleased to have the two middle names, but honestly it NEVER comes up. There is never space on documents to fill in multiple middle names. Really it is just an interesting topic for others to exclaim over when they find out, because no one I personally know (save my own family members) has two middle names. So coworkers, friends, etc find it mildly amusing.
